How to make a spinning vinyl video

  1. Upload a square cover image. It becomes the label in the middle of the record.
  2. Pick a background colour, or upload a background image to sit behind the disc.
  3. Choose a speed: 33⅓ RPM for the slow classic spin, or 45 RPM for something punchier.
  4. Choose Instagram Post (1:1) or Story (9:16).
  5. Export as GIF or MP4 and download it.

Vinyl, sleeve or case

The default view is the record on its own. Switch Presentation to Sleeve to show the record sliding out of a square cover — you control how far it slides — or to Case to place it inside a clear jewel-case frame.

Tips for a good-looking label

  • Use a square image, at least 1000 × 1000 px, so it stays sharp.
  • The label covers roughly the inner third of the record and is cropped to a circle, so keep the important part of the artwork in the centre.
  • Bold, high-contrast covers read best while the disc is spinning; tiny text near the edges of the image can get cut off.

One full rotation, which is also the loop: about 5.4 seconds at 33⅓ RPM and 3.9 seconds at 45 RPM. Because it is exactly one rotation, it loops without a visible jump.
